My dutiful laundrette

The lovely Autumn weather gave way to a cold, wet, windy day. I ventured as far as the neighbourhood laundrette to do my domestic duties. I had the place almost to myself.



I quite look forward to domestic challenges. Not having been in a laundrette for 25 years, I was wondering how I’d fare with making things work. I expected Google Translate to get a workout, but thankfully, a set of English instructions was on the wall. The days of coins in slots are gone - it’s a central console where you add credit to control various machines and dispensers.
